The End of an Era: Online Vape Sales

The PACT act, a rider on the COVID-19 relief bill signed by Trump in Dec 2020, will enforce vape products as tobacco products. This bill banned the shipping of vape products through the USPS. That sounds innocent enough, but FedEx and UPS have both announced that vape products will now be prohibited as well.

This included wholesale shipping, however the manufacturers and wholesale distributors are scrambling to arrange shipping with their respective carriers, who are making exceptions and special requirements for them to continue. This only means that your brick-and-mortar vape stores can continue to get their inventory.

The best thing you can do to help the fight against vape is to write your state and local politicians and let them know the harm they are causing you.

The deadline for USPS is April 5, 2021.

The deadline for UPS is April 5, 2021.

The deadline for FedEx is March 1, 2021.

Unfortunately, there are no other carriers in the US (scary thought!). There will be no option, unless it is locally warehoused and delivered (still limiting those in rural areas). DHL only delivers to consumers for international customers (so China to US but not US to US).

Until then, we hope you will be able to find a local store, and we hope to be in your area soon!
